Mr. Bob's Story - Part 1

March of 2024 we came across a colony of cats living behind a parking lot of a dentist office. One of the cats ran up to us asking for food and we noticed he only had half a tail and the tip was charred black. We knew we had to get him medical attention.

Others in the community had noticed his tail as well and created a post about him on social media asking for help for him.

We trapped the cat and brought him to the vet, who recommended tail amputation ASAP, which is how he got his name Mr. Bob.

After all his medical was finished, we released him back into his colony. But when we went back the next day to feed them, Mr. Bob was limping. We reached out to Hilltop Haven for help since the street life was not treating him well.

After getting to know Mr. Bob's personality during his recuperation time with us, he seemed to be a very social cat but he needed work on his social boundaries with people.

Hilltop Haven took him in and was amazing at teaching Mr. Bob these skills before adopting him out with another kitten that he had bonded with at the rescue. He now has a forever home with a wonderful woman who he has fallen head over heels in love with.

We are so happy Mr. Bob is off the streets and now living his BEST life. Thank you, Hilltop Haven!!
