My name is Elizabeth. I am an attorney in Boca Raton. Julee and I have a mutual friend Carolyn, and in 2008, Carolyn gave me a rescue kitten named Mikey. Mikey was my beloved companion for over 15 years. Unfortunately, Mikey passed away in early 2024 from a terminal illness. Carolyn and Julee were looking for another companion for me.

In April of 2024, I got a call from Carolyn that there may be a good prospect for me at Hilltop Haven Rescue. The first part of Bobby's (Mr. Bob's) rescue was told by Julee and I then contacted Jean at Hilltop Haven about the rescue cat. Jean described his injuries to me and told me that now he was healthy, having received proper veterinary care and was ready for adoption. Jean sent me some pictures; Bobby was absolutely adorable and I immediately fell in love. Jean asked me if I would be willing to adopt another kitten that had bonded with Bobby and I agreed. The more the merrier.
Jean met me in Bartow with the two cats. Bobby was the beautiful bob tailed ginger cat and Firecracker was a sleek black beauty. I took them home to my two other older cats at home.

Bobby fell in love with me from the first time I touched him. He climbed into my arms and looked up at me with such love. Firecracker was a little more shy, but they soon made friends with my two other cats and life has been great since then.

Bobby has the biggest personality I have ever seen in a cat. He knows his name, comes to me when I call him, and follows me everywhere and sleeps in bed with me. He loves cuddling and likes to dart in and give me a quick lick on the tip of my nose. Firecracker cuddles too and she taps me on my arm with her paw when she wants treats. Bobby and Firecracker sleep and play together.
I couldn't be happier with my two little companions, Bobby and Firecracker. Thank you Hilltop Haven.
